Walmart and Gap team up to focus on kids

Walmart has teamed up with Gap to deliver a new home collection focused just on kids.

BENTONVILLE, Ark. – Walmart has partnered with Gap to launch a new Gap Home Children line of over 200 items. The line includes children’s bedding, pillows, throws, rugs and window treatments that cost between $20 and $79.

The collection includes Gap’s classic chambrays, stripes and washed denim, as well as on-trend prints and kid-friendly colourways. This new collection follows Walmart’s introduction of Gap Home last summer and Gap Home Furniture in the fall.

“Customer response has been fantastic across the entire Gap Home line, which includes furniture, decor, tabletops, bedding and bath options that provide timeless American style for modern living,” depending on the company.

Highlights from the collection include:

  • Area rugs and accents that help parents put the finishing touches on playrooms and bedrooms, including the Watercolor Polka Dot Kids Rug ($49-$79), Reversible Logo Throw with Fringe (24 $.98) and the solid pillow with pompoms ($24.98).
  • Cozy comforters and complementary sheet sets with classic stripes and fun prints that can be mixed and matched for a colorful and unique piece, like the Assorted Stripe Organic Cotton Blend Comforter Set ($44.98 – $49.98) and the Ombre Stars Sheet Set ($29.98). -$39.98).
  • Organic cotton bath essentials with fluffy towels, rugs and shower curtains in cheerful prints and colors that will brighten up bath time, starting with the Chambray Stripe Shower Curtain with Pompoms ($27.88), the Dino Bath Mat ($19.98) and Rainbow Toss 6 Piece Towel Set ($34.98).

Plus, for a limited time, Walmart customers can experience the Gap Home Kids collection in person at thug’s housean experiential showroom by digital media brand Hunker, in the Abbot Kinney neighborhood of Venice Beach, California, starting this month.
