Inside Sofia Richie, Elliot Grainge’s $27 Million New Home – DIRT

What market slowdown? Just a month after putting his lavish Los Angeles estate up for sale, talent agency UTA CEO Jeremy Zimmer has already sold the place for $26.9 million, its full asking price.

Zimmer bought the house nearly two decades ago, in 2004. By that time, the existing 1920s house had been stripped down to the timbers and freshly rebuilt by the architect. Steve Giannetti; In its current iteration, the traditional East Coast style mansion offers six bedrooms and nine bathrooms spread over nearly 11,000 square feet of interior space.

Records indicate the new spendthrift owners are Sofia Richie and her fiancé Elliot Grainge, who recently sold their Bauhaus-inspired Beverly Hills home for nearly $22 million, or about $5 million. After that they paid for the place just a year ago.

The couple’s new home is located in Brentwood Park, one of Los Angeles’ most expensive neighborhoods, and spans a rare double lot that dwarfs most of its neighbors. The street-to-street property offers a ‘main’ front entrance protected by gates, high hedges and towering trees, as well as a discreet ‘rear’ entrance more suited to staff or vendors. At the front, a wide driveway leads past grassy lawns to the house, which is partially covered in thick, flowering vines.

Inside, glossy hardwood floors stained a dark brown are contrasted by white paneled walls and cream-colored carpets. Zimmer’s somewhat eclectic art collection also provided the place with bright pops of color, and the double-height foyer is topped with a skylight, filtering in abundant natural light.
