IF YOU’VE moved in with your partner, you’ve probably realized that your interior design style doesn’t match.
But one woman wasted no time swapping out her partner’s interiors to suit her own style after moving in with him.
Posting on Reddit, a woman who goes by the username, mimimeme2shared the inner transformation she undertook.
When she moved in with her then-boyfriend-turned-husband, her living room looked completely different, with an assortment of old-fashioned furniture and curtains.
But she quickly got down to business and created a stunning modern living space for the two of them.
She wrote, “This is what my husband’s living room looked like before he moved in. And this is what it looks like now after decorating the whole place.”
She then showed the before and after photos of the salon.
In the previous photos, you can see a visibly worn cream-painted living room, an outdated beaded chandelier, a tacky white leather sofa, faux flowers and a set of curtains like the ones your grandma had.
She immediately got to work, giving the room a lick of paint and replacing her battered white leather sofa with a chic gray corner sofa.
Then she replaced her old fashioned curtains with a set of light white curtains to open up the room and let in more natural light and a set of blinds.
The woman upgraded her pine wood furniture set which included a coffee table and TV stand for the white furniture and she replaced the artificial flowers with natural greenery.

The after photos also show a new bookcase, plush rug, rattan baskets, mirrors and flower pots to modernize the space.
The room looks completely different thanks to his girlfriend’s vision and Reddit users were apparently grateful that she stepped in and were seriously impressed with the transformation.
One person wrote: “Oh honey he needed Jesus and you were delivered.”
“Now it’s a glow.” Another user has accepted.
“As a man I say you are doing God’s work. Lol.” Added a third.
A fourth praised her, saying: “You did a great job! It’s so inviting and full of light now. I would never want to leave.
