Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco At Embarcadero Unveils Suites With Private Terraces

Partially open pre-pandemic with the best city and bay views of any hotel in San Francisco, Four Seasons San Francisco Hotel Embarcadero has now completed a two-and-a-half-year, multi-million dollar renovation in partnership with a luxury design firm Marzipan. The property’s 127 rooms and 28 suites are expansive and done in a cool palette with lots of gray, blue, and plum colors, and furniture and lighting inspired by San Francisco’s famous cable cars. Wallcoverings woven with gold threads to pay homage to the city’s gold rush history. Floors are wood in natural tones punctuated by hand-tufted wool rugs; bespoke millwork details frame the windows and their signature views.

The hotel occupies the top of the 48-story 345 California Center building and has skybridges on floors 40 through 48 that connect the hotel’s two towers — a prime spot for panoramic views from both sides of the building. But the big news here is the unveiling of two new upscale private terrace suites, each with 2,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor living space, including a living room, dining room, kitchenette, water, a rain shower, a freestanding bathtub, and the feature that gives these beautiful suites their name: 800 square feet of terraces (larger than the vast majority of standard hotel rooms in the city).

General Manager Gigi Vega said, “As we unveil the expansive suites with private terraces, we invite guests to indulge in our luxury boutique atmosphere, gorgeous views and spacious accommodations, all presented with the First-Rate Personalized Four Seasons Hospitality. We are so proud and thrilled that all of our rooms and suites at the Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco at Embarcadero are now fully booked and open. This gives our team the ability to deliver an enhanced, one-of-a-kind hospitality experience to sophisticated travelers looking for an unforgettable stay in San Francisco.

The hotel is located within walking distance of Chinatown, Little Italy, the Embarcadero waterfront and many of the city’s best restaurants. But it’s hard to leave such a perfect place, and thankfully the 24-hour room service has enough of a menu to keep everyone happy.

The civic address of the entrance to Four Seasons San Francisco Hotel Embarcadero is 222 Sansome St. Stay tuned for news of the hotel’s new restaurant concept in the coming months.
