How to plan a fun family premiere for the fourth and final Hotel Transylvania movie, from the comfort of your own home.

After the shine and glow of the holiday season, January is often considered one of the darkest months. Fortunately, it doesn’t have to be that way, especially when one of the hottest kids’ movies of the year arrives. Main video January 14. Get ready to roll out the red carpet at home for Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, the fourth and final film in the hugely popular film series.

Your children’s favorite vampires are back

The fourth installment in this beloved franchise is sure to be a hit with kids, but it’s one of those movies that parents look forward to as well. Admit it: WE ALL LOVE BLOBBY. Between the brilliant comedic writing, a plot that will grab adults’ attention, and the positive message, this is a film that kids and parents alike can enjoy.

In Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, all of your children’s favorite characters are back, including monsters like Blobby, Frankenstein, Mummy, Wayne, Murray, Dennis, Ericka, the Invisible Man and of course, Dracula and his family. As Dracula considers stepping down from running his five-part luxury monster hotel, he begins to prepare to hand over the business to his daughter, Mavis (voiced by Selena Gomez). However, Dracula soon has doubts about the impact his goofy human son-in-law Johnny (voiced by Andy Samberg) can have on the empire he has built. Disappointed that Dracula still does not accept him into the family, Johnny turns to Van Helsing, who helps him turn him into a monster. Unfortunately, something is wrong and Dracula and his monster friends are somehow transformed into humans. (It’s a classic mix of early ’90s movies, and we love a good throwback!)

Dracula and Johnny set off together to find a secret crystal that will help them return to their original form, learning to count and appreciate themselves along the way. It’s a fun and heartfelt trip with a positive message for the whole family. This movie is like a fortune cookie: cute and lively on the outside with a surprisingly heartfelt message on the inside. It has that silly, bursting laughter humor that all kids love with a great message of inclusion and acceptance of the uniqueness of yourself and others.

The best seat in town is in your living room

Families are spending more time at home these days, and if you live in an area with cold, snowy weather, the options for family activities are limited during the winter months. Monotony affects everyone, especially when it comes to pandemic restrictions, and you’ve probably watched your kids’ favorite movies hundreds of times. Enoooooough!

An exciting movie premiere at home is the perfect way to get comfortable and enjoy some quality, quality and relaxation time with the family. Instead of feeling stuck in the house, it’s like a treat to enjoy a brand new episode of a hilarious and heartwarming movie franchise from the safety and comfort of your living room. Unlike a theater premiere, parents can decide what time the movie starts so it doesn’t interfere with bedtime. Additionally, you can pause the movie when a child needs to pee.

Treat your family to the red carpet treatment

When the premiere is at home, you can do it your way. Keep it simple by popping popcorn and snuggling up in your pajamas, or opt for monster-themed decorations, costumes and snacks. Parents with small children may want to create an entire themed day, using homemade mud and googly eyes to create their own Blobby and making Mummy Hot Dogs and one punch suitable for monsters for lunch or dinner (the alcohol-free version for kids, of course).

It’s also fun to create a shared experience by planning your movie night with your friends and family, so that everyone can watch the same movie at home and talk about it afterwards. It doesn’t matter if you are next door neighbors or live in different parts of the country: everyone can watch the new Hotel Transylvania on Prime Video and enjoy a sense of community and connection.
