This year, the London Antique Rug & Textile Art Fair from Thursday April 18 to Sunday April 21, 2013 leaves Monday April 22 to visit the Christies preview exhibition ahead of their big ‘Oriental Rugs & Carpets’ carpet auction ‘Tuesday April 23. And Sothebys ‘Arts of the Islamic World’ will take place the next day, Wednesday April 24.
The London Antique Rug & Textile Fair (LARTA) will again take place in The Showroom, Penfold St, London and the opening hours for the public will be 11am to 7pm on Friday and Saturday, and 11am to 5pm on Sunday. The opening reception and preview Thursday is by special invitation only.
More than a dozen prominent UK and international antique carpets and textiles dealers will be exhibiting at LARTA this year. “LARTA 2013 will be fun, cool and inspiring,” says event organizer and exhibitor Aaron Nejad.
