Dienst + Dotter Antikviteter, the famous Scandinavian antique dealer, opened the curtain on a new project in his New York showroom. Award-winning actress and director duo Haley Bennett and Joe Wright have collaborated on a new exhibit that celebrates the holiday season. Entitled “The Leftovers…”, The installation captures a recently concluded party, with the remnants of the revelry left behind. Scandinavian antiques line the window, while theatrical paintings of a Swedish town in the moonlight provide the perfect backdrop. Bottega Veneta opens boutique in SoHo

Last week, the luxury retailer Bottega Veneta opened the doors of its very first outpost in SoHo, New York. The flooring, furniture and bespoke details make the boutique an ideal destination for design lovers. Highlights include seats made from bent aluminum (designed by Vanderbeke Andreu), volcanic glaze mirror frames (made by Italian artisans from Saddi workshops), and hand-molded glass (produced by Venetian artisans). ). For the artwork, Bottega chose to stay local by collaborating with Brooklyn lumber workers Vonnegut / Kraft, who created shoe accessories, front door handles, and more.

Carpet icon Ben Soleimani launches 12,000 square foot flagship product in New York

Acclaimed LA Carpet Merchant Ben Soleimani ventured east with the opening of a flagship in Manhattan. The move comes after Soleimani switched from rugs to a full line of home products in 2019. The New York store has 12,000 square feet of three-story storefront. Its offerings include a distinguished collection of antique rugs as well as contemporary handmade rugs, furniture, lighting, textiles and decorations. Free interior design services range from an initial sketch to an installation with white gloves.

Mackage opens sleek new outpost in Aspen

Mackage, an outerwear brand known for its stylish yet rugged outerwear designs, has opened a seasonal pop-up store in Aspen for the winter season. “I was inspired by the landscape and topography of Aspen, combined with the build and feel of Mackage products, especially the down system,” interior designer Sarah Coleman told AD PRO. “I wanted to create a serene but comfortable and warm space. I wanted to be both playful and sophisticated, using a lot of recycled materials.
